AUCKLAND, NEW ZEALAND – Independent full funnel agency Thompson Spencer has bolstered its media division with the appointment of three seasoned professionals from OMD, MBM and EssenceMediacom, further enhancing its presence across Australia and New Zealand.

Based in Auckland, Jake Calder joins as Media Director / Media Futurist after senior roles at OMD and MBM, where he led digital transformation and performance strategies for brands including Air New Zealand, Spark, The Warehouse Group, and the New Zealand Government. Calder, a recognised thought leader in automation, AI and digital media innovation, will spearhead the agency’s media innovation and data-driven approach.

Madison Trevella, formerly with OMD and most recently Strategy & Client Lead at Reason, steps in as Head of Media in Melbourne. Trevella’s focus will be on developing a clear, integrated media offering that unites brand strategy with performance outcomes.

Joining from EssenceMediacom, Libby Frost takes on the role of Media Planner in Auckland, bringing experience in media strategy, digital planning and integrated campaign delivery across agency and client-side environments.
