After a sold-out, limited run at the theaters just last August, the movie “The Last Journey of Ninoy” is already on DVD.
Directed by Jun L. Reyes, TVC director, and produced by Unitel Productions, the 52-minute movie is a semi-documentary narration of the last days of former Philippine Senator Benigno S. Aquino Jr., whose assassination remains unsolved these last 26 years. Returning from self-imposed exile in Boston, Massachusetts, Aquino made a few crucial stop-overs and held strategic meetings, details of which are chronicled in the movie.
The DVD version includes an original soundtrack of the movie whose music and sound effects were produced by SounDesign.
Available in major retail outlets, the DVD of “The Last Journey of Ninoy” sells at PhP500.00.
Proceeds from DVD sales will be used to support projects of the Benigno S. Aquino Jr. Foundation.
