Araw Values Awards 2016 now accepting entries

MANILA – One of the most highly anticipated events in the Philippine Advertising Industry is the ARAW Values Awards, a flagship project of the Advertising Foundation of the Philippines. It is a biennial industry awards program anchored on the ARAW 7 Cornerstone Values: Love of God and Respect for Religious Beliefs, Commitment to Truth, Honesty and Integrity, Love of Country and Respect for National Customs and Traditions, Reverence for Family Unit, or Marriage, or Responsible Parenthood, Respect and Care for Life and Dignity and the Rights of All, Respect for Law and Authority and Promotion of Self-discipline, Concern for and Preservation of the Environment.

Now on its 10th year, it has remained the benchmark by which Filipino creative excellence in promoting values in advertising is measured.

Keeping in stride with the changing times, the 10th Araw Values Awards dubbed “Kapag Naliligaw, Tumingin sa Araw!” is proud to introduce the first ever online system for the submission of entries and judging. The competition coverage will include entrants from the Philippine advertising industry as well as individual or group of students from high school and college levels (K-12, open universities, vocational) in the country. To qualify, entries must be aired, published, displayed or exhibited from September 1, 2014 to August 31, 2016. Entries will be graded as follows: 50% Values message, 40% creativity and 10% Implementation.
