Cups of UGC turn into shots for Nescafé

PHILIPPINES – JULY 2011 – Hot on the heels of its points system and My Choice app, Nestlé Philippines and digital agency Neo OgilvyOne turn to user-generated content for its “Simple Shots, Simple Joys” video promo launched last week.
 
The promo aims to capture the mundane but blissful moments of savoring a cup of Nescafé coffee. It is open to all video filmmakers, with a separate category for students. Entries must be 15 to 45 seconds long, and a shot of the red Nescafé centennial mug should start and end the video. P150,000 worth of prizes is at stake. Joining the contest also earns Nescafé points for the users.

 
Submission for the student category is ongoing until August 18, 2011. The general category opens on August 4 and also closes on August 18. Winners will be announced on August 26. Like the Simple Shots, Simple Joys app at the Nestlé Philippines Facebook page for the complete mechanics.
