In line with this, Department of Health now promotes the Go4Health Program. These are GO smoke-free, GO sustansya, GO Sigla, GO Slow sa Tagay.

“Healthy lifestyle actually does not only involve you know on talking about creating advertising behind it, it’s also encouraging everyone all the stakeholders including our own employees and their own family to make contribution in promoting healthy lifestyle”, Blen Fernando, PANA president shared.

“We know that the Department of Health has this healthy program and that’s exactly what we want to collaborate with so that we can get more Filipinos to embrace health both on what they eat and how they move and how their lifestyle is and that will impact our loved ones and in our own lives”, Sandra Puno, PANA board member and Director of Communications at Nestle Philippines added.

PANA, together with the Ad Standards Council (ASC) and the Advertising Foundation (Ad Foundation), gathered for the Advertising Forum on Healthy Lifestyle last Tuesday. It was the first meeting with the keynote speaker DOH Assistant Secretary Dr. Enrique Tayag where he discussed the state of NDCs in the Philippines and appraised them on the various DOH programs to address these.

“We are looking at how we can work with the other members of the industry whom we know can actually provide opportunities so that risk factors will become more prevalent in the future that we know that you know what our problem is and that there are ways of how we can work together. We know that deep in your hearts that you want our country to Go For Health”, Tayag explained.
