MANILA – April 13, 2018 kickstarts a new chapter for Carat Philippines with Oyie Pingol effectively stepping in to lead the agency.
Oyie’s 20+ years in the industry showcases her stellar performance in winning local and regional recognition for her work, and for being on top of MNCs such as Coca-Cola, Samsung, McDonald’s, Johnson & Johnson, L’Oreal, Mondelez and local blue chips such as San Miguel, Unilab, Jollibee, Goldilocks, Monde Nissin and Century Pacific Group among others.
“These accomplishments aren’t proof-points for success, but are sources of valuable experiences and skills I’ve honed over my entire career to share and pass-on to my new family in Carat,” Oyie says.
Oyie is no stranger to her new family, having been the General Manager of Vizeum, one of three media agencies under Dentsu Aegis Network. She has propelled Vizeum to be recognized by independent sources such as R3 (global brand) and Adobo (the word on creativity) for the agency’s prolific new business performance.
Prior to joining the Dentsu Aegis Network, Oyie was a General Manager at Starcom Mediavest Group. She has also worked in other major media agencies in the past taking on different roles from communications strategy, media trading and account management and agency business management.
Joanna Mojica, Dentsu Aegis Network Chief Media Officer, proudly declares, “Oyie is a Media Connections Architect, Productivity Steward, Proficient Manager and Business Performance-Minded Leader. Ask anyone whom she has worked with and you’ll learn and appreciate how she takes her work with full vigor and treats her clients’ business as her own. She leaves no stones unturned, takes accountability in everything that she does, and precision is a non-negotiable. Foremost, it is her passion that spelled her fit to lead Carat Philippines.”
Dentsu Aegis Network PH CEO Donald Lim states, “The next 3 years for Carat will be very exciting both for our clients and the Carat family and I believe that Oyie, is the best fit to lead the agency in this exciting era for Carat. Joanna and I are very excited to see how she will infuse her passion in her new organization as Chief Executive Officer.”
