DZMM Teleradyo Keeps N. America Pinoys� Ears and Eyes on the Ground

With DZMM TeleRadyo’s roll-out in North America,  Filipinos in the US and Canada, to access the latest political and entertainment news from DZMM, a popular Philippine radio station, albeit on TV.

ABS-CBN Broadcasting VP for Manila Radio Division Peter Musngi said DZMM TeleRadyo has now been made available on TFCko; a video on demand service that provides subscribers a personalized TV viewing experience different from traditional TV.

“Radio must evolve for it to attract all potential audience and listeners, specially the ‘millenials’ worldwide,” he said.  “DZMM’s reach via radio is limited to Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. By going into TeleRadyo, DZMM is now able to reach Filipinos who are residing outside of the Philippines.”

With TFCko now available in the US, Canada, and Japan, subscribers are now able to listen to the commentaries of Korina Sanchez and Ted Failon in Tambalang Failon at Sanchez, Anthony Taberna and Gerry Baja in Dos por Dos, and Neil Ocampo in Todo Balita.   Those who want to know the latest in national events can turn to Radyo Patrol Balita with Angelo Palmones, Bernadette Sembrano, Alex Santos, Pinky Webb and Nina Corpuz; For showbiz news, they can listen to Cristy Fermin and Jobert Sucaldito on weekdays, and catch Alfie Lorenzo’s program on Saturdays.

This month, DZMM promotes TeleRadyo in California as part of the World Caravan organized by the Philippine Tourism Authority.

Aside from its worldwide roll-out, DZMM is prepping its official website (www.dzmm.com.ph)  for launch in the next two months.
