Singha Beer appoints Leo Burnett global AOR of its Manchester United sponsorship

GLOBAL –  Following the news of its three-year partnership with English Premier League football team, Manchester United, Singha Corporation announced today the appointment of Leo Burnett Thailand to handle the communication campaign of this partnership.

With this appointment, Leo Burnett Thailand will be responsible for Singha communications (ATL and visibilities) in Thailand and international markets across Asia, the UK and the U.S. This will also include all brand visibilities at the Old Trafford Stadium in the UK where Singha lager has pouring rights and will be the only lager available.

Commenting about the reason on the decision behind appointing Leo Burnett as the AOR for the global sponsorship project with Man-U, marketing director, Chutchai Wiratyosin said,” The team has demonstrated that they are passionate to work with us and understand our business. Creativity will be one of the crucial ingredients in establishing Singha in the global landscape. Work on the first batch of creative and visibilities are underway, in time for a launch in August with highlights including the world’s first Manchester United giant building and sky train wrap.

Under the global partnership with Manchester United, Singha Corporation has won the rights to become the “Official Beer” distributor of Singha merchandises at Old Trafford. The Singha billboard will also stand on the pitch at Old Trafford.
