Jollibee releases three Diskarteng Savers tips to Survive Everyday Peligro

In a new series of ads, Eugene Domingo is back to dish out hilarious yet practical tips to surviving everyday budget struggles 

Jollibee, the country’s number one fast-food brand, is back again with funny and practical videos for its deliciously affordableJolliSavers line.

In this newest series of ads, Jollibee and creative agency Publicis Jimenez Basic explored the concept of “diskarte” to address a timely issue that young Filipino millennials are now facing day after day – everyday peligro.

After several successful campaigns around Petsa De Peligro, the brand observed that the consumer landscape has changed once again – that the struggle over budget has become more of a daily occurrence which brought to life the idea of everyday peligro. “As prices of basic items continue to rise, young working Pinoys and their budgets are now constantly challenged beyond petsa de peligro; it’s now everyday peligro for many of them,” said Cathleen Capati, Jollibee AVP and Head for Flagship Category. “And to help resolve these daily challenges, we developed relatable content inspired by real life situations featuring JolliSavers aided by a very Filipino trait of clever problem-solving—aka diskarte.”

The new JolliSavers ads focus on three familiar situations that can pose a strain on the budget: getting home during rush hour, impressing one’s crush, and planning a Friday night out with the office barkada.

As soon as office hours are over, employees are bustling through the gate in a rush to get home. But what if getting home is a peligroto the budget because fare prices have started surging? Eugene Domingo and this trio of millennial employees have a great tip that will appeal to the budget-conscious Pinoys.

Have an office crush? Apart from impressing him or her with your efficiency as an employee and great work ethic, there are budget-friendly ways to express your romantic interest, as illustrated in this second ad.
