Globe Telecom has appointed Netbooster Asia, a subsidiary of Paris-based International NetBooster Group, as their first ever digital Agency of Record (AOR). NetBooster will handle online creative and strategy for the company’s consumer wireless, broadband and landline services, including its corporate SME portfolio.
The assignment was awarded after a mid-April pitch between six agencies. Speaking exclusively to adobo, a Globe representative explained the choice. “We felt Netbooster was [most likely] to see things in ways that we can’t; the most likely to show us things we don’t normally see.” Most of the other contenders were digital units of creative agencies; Netbooster bills itself as a fully integrated online marketing and advertising agency, and includes web strategy and SEO among its competencies.
