Aktiv Digital expands in the region with senior hires

ASIA-PACIFIC – AUGUST 23, 2011 – Aktiv Digital, the leading pan-regional online media sales house in Asia, has strengthened its ranks with the addition of several members to its team. Eliot Connor has joined Aktiv after eight years with online sales company Ad2One, where he was responsible for running Ad2One’s SEA operation as well as launching the Australian office. Previous to his time in APAC he managed sales across sub divisions of the company in Europe.

Having served in the field for close to a decade, Conor is responsible for spearheading the company’s social media division across the region. This division offers a holistic social solution encompassing Facebook social ads optimization, content seeding distribution network, advertising opportunities with social apps and games etc. According to a Synovate study, social networking is now the most popular online activity in South East Asia; 48.9% Singaporeans are Facebook users, Indonesia is the world’s second-largest market for Facebook and more than 25 million users make Facebook the number one website in the Philippines.
