MANILA – Daniel Padilla and Julia Barretto are popping up all over town in a new campaign for Pepsi by BBDO Guerrero.
The Pepsi Standfie Promo invites fans to take selfies with standees of Padilla and Barretto while holding a bottle or can of Pepsi for a chance to win special prizes.
Participants can submit their entries in three ways: By posting their photos on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter, using the hashtag #PepsiStandfie, taking a webcam photo through templates on www.pepsistandfie.com, or uploading a photo with the standees on the website.
The standees can be found in supermarkets, malls, and 7-Eleven stores all over the metro.
Prizes include Instax Mini 8 cameras (minor) and Samsung Galaxy S5 phones (Grand).
Winners of minor prizes will be determined by a raffle draw, while grand prize winners will be selected though an online public vote.
As a bonus, twenty fans can win a chance to meet and greet Padilla and Barretto, by including a caption in the photos they enter, saying why they deserved to meet their chosen star. The bonus winners will be selected by Padilla and Barretto themselves.
To promote the campaign, a video was released in which Padilla photobombed the selfies of fans as they took photos with the standee.
