Seven Philippine companies win at IABC Gold Quill Awards

MANILA – Seven Philippine companies took home Excellence and Merit awards at the 2014 International Gold Quill Awards, which honors communication excellence worldwide.

ABS-CBN brought home an Excellence Award in Multi-audience Programs for ‘ABS-CBN’s restoration project: restoring, reliving, and re-experiencing multi-awarded Filipino Classic Films.’

Globe Telecom brought home an Excellence Award in Employee Engagement for its program, ‘Raising Employee Satisfaction through Better Engagement.’

The same program also won a Merit Award for Internal Communication.

The telco company also took home a Social Media Program Merit Award for ‘Talk2Globe: Innovating Social Customer Care.’

Globe’s collaborations with McCann Worldgroup also won two Merit Awards: an Advertising Campaign Merit Award for their program, ‘Tatoo Postpaid Personalize Plans,’ and a Social Media Program Merit Award for ‘2013 TATT Awards.’

Smart Communications and DDB Philippines took home a Merit Award in Marketing Communications  for their ‘Smart Jump In Campaign.’

Shell Companies of the Philippines also took home a Merit Award in Marketing Communications for ‘Extending Happiness to Filipino motorists.’ It also won a Merit Award in Corporate Social Responsibility for ‘Shell Movement Against Malaria – Changing the Numbers Through Awareness.’

PAGCOR won two Corporate Social Responsibility Merit Awards, both for its program, “Matuwid na Daan sa Silid-Aralan (Building Schools through Good Governance)” project.

PRU-Life UK (Philippines) also won a Gold Quill for its entry “Cha-ching Financial Literacy for the Youth Program.”
