MANILA – ‘SunPiology: An Adventure-filled Run with the Stars’ took over Bonifcaio Global City last weekend in the latest entry of the anticipated charity event. The event, now in its sixth year, is an annual fund-raiser organized by Sun Life Financial Philippines and Star Magic to promote and collect donations for the Hebreo 12:1 Foundation and Star Magic charities.
“I believe in education,” said Pascual during the SunPiology launch press conference held last month, referring to the beneficiaries of the event. “Everyone deserves an education, everyone deserves to study.”
Produced in conjunction with Coach Riodela Cruz’s RunRio, this year’s run was enlivened by the addition of mazes and obstacles inspired by the four elemnts of earth, wind, fire and water.
“It’s our way of bringing Sun Life’s innovative spirit to our CSR activities,” explained Sun Life Philippines president and CEO Riza Mantaring, who added that the goal for the event was to give participants a goal beyond just dashing for the finish line.
Lending star power to the event were Pascual’s fellow Star Magic artists, including Rayver Cruz, Ejay Falcon, Joem Bascon, Jessy Mendiola, Matteo Guidicelli, Jane Oineza, Ynna Asistio, Francis Magundayao, Trina Legaspi, CJ Novato, Jovit Baldivino, and Markki Stroem.
