UPDATED: 7 PHL agencies make first batch of Spikes 2014 shortlists

SINGAPORE – Seven Philippine agencies have made the shortlists so far at the 2014 Spikes Asia Festival of Creativity. 

Spikes announced its first batch of finalists on September 24, revealing nine shortlists: Design, Digital, Healthcare, Innovation, Media, Mobile, Outdoor, PR, and Print.

Lowe Philippines has six entries in the shortlists: ‘Plastic Dudes,’ ‘Plastic Grandma,’ and ‘Plastic Kids’ under Print and Outdoor.

DM9JaymeSyfu has three finalists entries: ‘TXTBKS’ for Smart Communications under Innovation, and ‘Pocket Fire Extinguisher’ for the City of Las Pinas under Innovation and Outdoor. 

 

 

BBDO Guerrero counts three shortlisted entries: ‘#Unselfie’ for the Typhoon Yolanda Appeal in Digital and Mobile, and ‘Liter of Light at Night’ for Pepsico International and the MyShelter Foundation in Media.

 

Also with two finalists is TBWA\SMP, with ‘Fulgoso’ and ‘Monette’ for CARA Welfare Philippines being shortlisted in Print.

 

Leo Burnett Manila’s ‘Aid Couture’ for Procter & Gamble was shortlisted three times, under Media, PR, and Outdoor.

 

JWT Manila has one finalist: ‘Cream Silk Hair Sonata’ with Mindshare for Unilever Philippines under Media.

 

Ace Saatchi & Saatchi’s ‘Cebuana’ for Cebuana Lhuillier was shortlisted in Outdoor.

 

Spikes Asia 2014 will run at Suntec Singapore until September 26. Winners will be revealed at an awards ceremony at the Marina Bay Sands Grand Theatre on the evening of the 26th.
