MANILA – Nestlé Philippines, Inc. and Wyeth Philippines, Inc. announced today the appointment of ZenithOptimedia as their joint Nestlé media agency.

ZenithOptimedia has been Nestlé’s media agency since 2003, while Wyeth was handled by MEC.
 
“The decision to award the business to ZenithOptimedia was based on a strong combination of factors including strategic planning, digital acumen, buying efficiencies, and leadership strength.  This effectively consolidates the media planning and buying of both Nestlé and Wyeth into one agency,” Nestlé Philippines communication director Sandra Puno said.    
 
Consistent with industry best practice to periodically review the offerings of media agencies, Nestlé and Wyeth conducted a media pitch in late 2013, where both ZenithOptimedia and MEC participated. Both Zenith and MEC are part of Nestlé’s globally-aligned networks. 
 
“We wish to take this opportunity to thank MEC for its years of excellent work with Wyeth Philippines and we look forward to a fruitful partnership with ZenithOptimedia as we move the business forward,” Puno said.
