Craig Davis, the Australian CD credited with turning around JWT’s creative reputation before he resigned six months ago, will be joining top Australian agency Publicis Mojo as co-chair and chief creative officer across Australia and New Zealand.
Davis, whose quote "Hold my skateboard while I kiss your girlfriend" still adorns the doors of JWT’s Manila office, left his coveted global job at JWT in order to raise his family in Australia.
"I decided to move to Australia for family reasons, but my ambition was to live in Australia and work in the world,” Davis has been quoted as saying.
He is credited with improving JWT’s creative reputation (39 Cannes Lions in 2008) and attracting high profile talent, as well as establishing the worldwide creative council.
