NEW ZEALAND – Amazon Ads specialist Deep Media has officially launched in New Zealand, appointing experienced media leader Anna Walker as Country Lead, just days ahead of the introduction of advertising on Prime Video in New Zealand on August 28, 2025.
Anna, who will be based in Christchurch, will lead Deep Media’s efforts to support independent agencies and brands across the country in unlocking the value of Amazon’s advertising solutions. Her previous roles include senior strategy positions at MediaWorks, Publicis, and FCB, giving her deep understanding of both agency and client-side needs.

Deep Media was founded in 2024 by ex-Amazon executives Paul Kent, Andrew Hammond, and Blake Gorman, and is a verified Amazon Ads partner. The group, which drives growth for advertisers across Amazon’s suite of ad platforms including Prime Video, IMDB, Twitch and retail platforms, manages campaigns across APAC, Europe and North America. Deep Media has doubled in size over the past year amidst growing demand as clients embrace access to exclusive inventory and first party data available via Amazon Ads.
