2nd PH print media congress on August 9-10

THE PHILIPPINES, JULY 12, 2012: United Print Media Group, the premier organization of leading publications (broadsheets, tabloids, and magazines) in the country, will be hosting the 2nd Philippine Print Media Congress on August 9-10, 2012 at Manila Hotel.
The event will gather more than 400 executives, officers, staff, and media practitioners-publishers, editors and writers and our partners from the advertising community as well as readers at large. 
The congress aims to establish the continuing role of the print media as a major and relevant mainstream medium of mass communication and as a strong tool in nation building; and to define ways by which this role can be further strengthened and enhanced to serve its general public even more.
This year’s Print Media Congress aims to establish that the print media remains to be a major and relevant mainstream medium of mass communication and continue to be so even with the emergence of new non-traditional media. Moreover, it will also discuss the importance of print media in social development and nation building, how to keep it vibrant, relevant and competitive as well as the latest global trends.
