Media Contacts’ Jonathan Joson named Young Market Master

PHILIPPINES, MARCH 2011 – Jonathan Joson, strategic planning director of Media Contacts Philippines, has been awarded the Young Market Masters Award (YMMA) for Digital Marketing in the Philippines.
 
The YMMA is organized and presented as an advocacy project by Mansmith and Fielders Inc., the leading marketing and sales training firm in the Philippines. It aims to recognize outstanding young Filipino marketers, entrepreneurs, and sales managers 35 and below.
 
Jonathan has the rare distinction of being the only representative of an advertising agency to be conferred this award and is the youngest awardee at only 24.
 
On winning the award, Jonathan said: “It is wonderful feeling to have won YMMA. This award is an encouragement for me to create more innovative work that will push boundaries and achieve great results for our clients.”

Jonathan joined Media Contacts in 2008. In his three-year stint he won numerous awards and was a key member of the team responsible for Media Contacts winning the Agency of the Year at the Philippine Advertising Congress Araw Awards in 2009.
 
His award winning projects includes the “Awesome Philippines” campaign developed for the Philippines Department of Tourism; "Kilig Factory" campaign for Closeup; “Expect More Freedom” for the Bank of the Philippine Islands. He has also been recognized for developing a very successful social media campaign for Unilever’s Dove brand.
 
The other YMMA come from P&G, Unilever, Kraft, GlaxoSmithKline and the Primer Group.
