Signal no. 3 be d*mned! They came to party and the 16th NU 107 Rock Awards delivered. The World Trade Center was crammed with musical artists and costumed ghouls (hard to tell apart) as the best of rock and roll for 2009 were awarded recognition.
Hosts, presenters, artists and what-not all graced the stage as the glitz and glamour of the country’s musical who’s who outshone the klieg lights.

Atom Henares, NU 107 founder, played gracious host, while son Quark, photographer, director and lecturer was his usual self – lovable mad artist. Fans from all fields were present, from publishers to ad men, from professors to chefs. The guest list was eclectic, reflective of the station itself.

It was another rockin’ NU night as Up Dharma Down was awarded Artist of the Year, the highlight of the night.
