“This demand is twofold. firstly more western directors are now shooting in Asia and are expecting the same excellence there as they receive from Cut+Run in London, New York & LA.  Equally exciting though is that demand is also coming from creative productions in the region wanting our skills and services”, says Tomkinson.

As resident editor Chris Szymanski describes, “Asia is a very exciting place to be right now. There are amazing opportunities out here allowing for the team to really leave a mark.”

Senior editor Nick Diss agrees: “Most of the business at the moment is coming from Shanghai and Beijing. That said we are doing more and more for Manila and even India. We have also have worked with quite a few Australian directors as it is very easy for us to service Australian jobs."

The new facility has a number of resident British editors, continuing the company’s borderless philosophy, which lets the editors can work in any of the worldwide offices or on location.
