ADFEST ‘salutes’ the region’s top creatives with two free delegate passes

Bangkok- ADFEST is pleased to introduce the “Lotus Salute”, an initiative which will reward two high-achieving young creative professionals in each Asia Pacific region with free delegate passes to ADFEST.

The “Lotus Salute” will support affiliated advertising associations in the Asia Pacific, who share ADFEST’s mission to nurture young creative talent in the region.

‘Lotus Salute’ covers participation in all functions at ADFEST as well as Seminars, Award Ceremonies, Film Screenings, meals and coffee breaks.  Travel and accommodation are not included.

“Creative excellence is the raison d’etre at ADFEST and we believe the introduction of Lotus Salute will further encourage creative excellence in each country as well as encourage more participation with national advertising associations and events. At the same time, it would also foster better networking and the exchange of ideas between ambitious young creatives in the region,” says Vinit Suraphongchai, Chairman of the Working Committee at ADFEST.

Affiliated advertising associations can elect “Lotus Salute” recipients however they choose. They might host a national creative competition, for example, or simply present the ‘Lotus Salute’ to young winners in the Grand Prix or equivalent categories at national festivals.

The “Lotus Salute” strengthens ADFEST’s commitment to nurturing young local talent. For the past 8 years, ADFEST has also hosted The Young Lotus Workshop, a program that has proven highly popular and successful.
