Campaigns & Grey Philippines win SM World Expo and Electrolux accounts

G2/Bacon, Campaigns & Grey Philippines’ brand activation arm, has been awarded SM Investments Corporation’s 2010 Shanghai World Expo account.

SM Investments Corporation is one of the Philippines’ largest conglomerates, occupying a dominant position in retail, mall operations, and banking and finance. It is also a fast emerging player in property development, and the hotels and conventions business.

The appointment which was made based on the agency’s credentials without a pitch, will see G2/Bacon handle SM’s special events,audio-visual presentations and marketing collateral materials such as brochures at the Expo.

Don Bautista, Managing Director of G2/Bacon, said, "This win demonstrates SM’s trust and confidence in our agency. Having worked with us on several projects, they are familiar with our capabilities and work ethic. This assignment in particular provides us with further international exposure."

In a separate win, Campaigns PR Inc (CAPRI), Campaigns & Grey Philippines’ public relations arm, landed the Electrolux business.

During the initial one-year contract period, the agency will manage corporate and brand public relations duties as well as media-related events for Electrolux.

Richard Arboleda, Managing Director of CAPRI, said, "It was through a synergy of traditional and non-traditional PR thinking that we won the business. Electrolux is a huge European brand with a very strong portfolio of leading-edge products. It is a very welcome addition to CAPRI’s portfolio of global blue-chip brands."
