PHD Malaysia promotes Audrey Chong to General Manager

ASIA-PACIFIC – KUALA, LUMPUR, JULY 5 , 2011 – PHD Malaysia has promoted Senior Business Director Audrey Chong to General Manager. In her new role, effective immediately, Chong will be charged with the leadership and raising the profile of PHD Malaysia, spanning the functions of strategic planning, buying and business development. She reports to Omnicom Media Group Malaysia’s Managing Director Andreas Vogiatzakis.
 
Commenting on the promotion, Andreas Vogiatzakis said, “I am delighted to announce Audrey’s promotion. An enterprising leader, Audrey’s zest for learning and transforming them into ideas and insights to benefit the client is remarkable. Within a span of the past few months, Audrey has demonstrated exceptional business development and strategic planning capabilities that are instrumental to PHD’s continuing success in Malaysia.” 
 
Chong started her career in advertising and soon found her calling in media.  She has serviced blue-chip brands such as F&N Coca Cola, CIMB, L’Oreal, Tourism Malaysia, Heineken, DiGi and more.  She has worked for Bates, Zenith, Initiative, MEC, Optimedia and most recently for Starcom.
