Publicis Worldwide refurbishes its original logo

GLOBAL – Publicis Worldwide on Friday launched a new brand identity, well not technically. The newly launched logo is a refurbished version of the company’s very first Art Deco style logo that hung on the front door of the two-room Parisian apartment of Publicis Founder Marcel Bleustein-Blanchet in 1926.

The original logo was tweaked to reflect a simpler, modern design. The new logo also retained the iconic Lion head of Publicis Worldwide.

“In many ways the new design reflects our Publicis DNA and what we aim to do for every client we work with. And that is: LEAD THE CHANGE,” said Arthur Sadoun, Global CEO of Publicis Worldwide.

“The new logo’s Art Deco borrows from our past and the legendary story of Marcel Bleustein-Blanchet, but intentionally incorporates modern characteristics such as symmetry and simplicity. Our intent was to create an ownable and timeless design.”

Publicis’ global network of over 13,000 people in 84 countries will sport the new identity, conceived and developed by Publicis Worldwide North America starting next month.
