GASSO redefines riches in spot for its latest client, Master Sardines

THE PHILIPPINES, SEPTEMBER 22, 2011:  Gallardo & Associates (GASSO) has been awarded the Master Sardines account without a pitch. The agency approached the brand as an initiative. "We presented to the Client believing that they had a good product with a relevant benefit that still had a lot of untapped potential in the marketplace." said Paolo Arevalo, executive creative director at GASSO.
 
The partnership has produced its first 30-second spot with popular host-actor Vic Sotto as a pirate captain. The TVC focuses on the vitamin-rich sardine brand as the true definition of "kayamanan" (wealth). The campaign is also supported by print and OOH materials.
 

 
"Nowadays, people are more conscious of what they eat," says Arevalo. "But what many seem to overlook is that one of the Filipinos’ favorite foods, sardines, is packed with calcium, protein, and other vitamins! Plus, Master Sardines is one of the more affordable canned foods available. A real ‘treasure’ for us Pinoys."
