Clio Sports announces 2017 jury

NEW YORK — Clio Sports, the competition honoring creative excellence in sports marketing and advertising on an international scale, today announced its 2017 jury. This year’s jury consists of top names in sports marketing and business from the Global Chief Marketing Officer of Under Armour, Andrew Donkin, to the President of StubHub, Scott Cutler, to the CMO of the NFL, Dawn Hudson.

The jurors will convene between April 19 – 21 in New York City to sort through an international pool of submissions across categories including integrated campaigns, film series and digital/mobile, and decide this year’s top creative class. The winners of the fourth annual Clio Sports Awards will be announced and celebrated at an exclusive event on May 16, 2017 at Capitale in New York City. The first submission deadline is January 20, 2017.

“As an Olympic year, 2016 was huge for advertising and marketing in sports, and we’re already hearing buzz around the 2017 Super Bowl ads. We expect the competition to be incredibly steep, and needed to gather a strong field of experts to help us determine the best creative work of the past year,” said Nicole Purcell, president, Clio. “We are excited to begin the process that will honor the best campaigns and creative that have permeated pop culture and made a mark in our 2016-2017 season.”
