PHILIPPINES, NOVEMBER 18, 2010 – Net 25’s SPOON was proclaimed Best Celebrity Talk Show at the 24th PMPC (Philippine Movie Press Club) Star Awards for Television while its multi-talented host Janice de Belen was adjudged Best Celebrity Talk Show Host, her second in the same category.
One of the country’s most star-studded and prestigious award-giving bodies, the Philippine Movie Press Club chose the theme “A Night of Glam, Power and Fame” in the awards show held at the Newport Performing Arts Center at Resorts World Manila, November 13.
SPOON was pitted against TV5’s Jojo All the Way and QTV11’s Full Time Moms, The Sweet Life, and Tonight with Arnold Clavio in the same category. The show is now on its 12th season with a growing list of sponsors and loyal viewership.
Clad in a simple yet elegant black ensemble, Janice de Belen thanked the PMPC, her family and shared the award to her SPOON production team. De Belen’s three daughters Moira, Ynna and Kyla accompanied her during the awards night.
