BBDO Guerrero’s ‘Persistent Headaches’ to be published in 51st D&AD book

GLOBAL, APRIL 22, 2013 – BBDO Guerrero’s multi-awarded campaign for Saridon will be included in the 51st D&AD Annual to be published September this year, alongside 33 other campaigns awarded In-Book status during the 51st annual D&AD judging for the TV & Cinema Advertising category.

BBDO Guerrero’s clever take on ‘Persistent Headaches’ has earned metals in several local and international competitions including Cannes Lion, AdStars, Spikes, London International Awards and most recently, Kidlat Awards.

Per country tally, the United States led the nominations for TV & Cinema with seven campaigns vying for a Pencil, including two commercials by Barton F Graf 9000 for KAYAK, and two from Wieden+Kennedy New York for Brown-Forman.

McCann Melbourne’s ‘Dumb Ways to Die’, a Gold-winner at ADFEST 2013, has also earned a nomination for a Pencil.

·         Brain Surgeon by Barton F. Graf 9000 for KAYAK
·         KAYAK Television Campaign  by Barton F. Graf 9000 for KAYAK
·         Whatever’s Comfortable Beach by Wieden+Kennedy New York for Brown-Forman
·         The Name by Wieden+Kennedy New York for ESPN
·         Susan Glenn by Bartle Bogle Hegarty USA for Unilever
·         OK Go "Needing/Getting" Music Video by Goodby Silverstein & Partners for Chevrolet
·         Cable Effects by GREY New York for DirecTV

Entrants will have to wait until the award ceremony on June 12 to find out whether they have been awarded a coveted Yellow Pencil.
