TV 5 presents Talentadong Pinoy Finalists

MANILA, AUGUST 5, 2013- Seven finalists will showcase their talents for TV 5’s talent show , Talentadong Pinoy in Pinoy Battle Royale to be the fourth Talentadong Pinoy Ultimate Talentado. The last showcase kicks off live at the Cuneta Astrodome, Pasay City on August 18.

Talentadong Pinoy is a talent show of TV 5 hosted by Ryan Agoncillo. It features the best performances from dancers, singers, musicians and comedians, actors, impressionists, jugglers and magicians.

Sor Apao, a Davao native started singing when she was four years old. She shares that she is shy and timid but becomes a completely different person when she’s reaching the high notes on stage. She was a finalist in the previous seasons of the talent show but she proves her determination in joining again this year.

The aspiring illusionist ‘Laserman’ or JB Dela Cruz in real life has been hooked with magic since 8 years old.  He is the breadwinner of his family and has a kind heart that wants to share his magic tricks with sick and poor kids. He realized that magic is his passion.

Talentadong Pinoy Hall of famer Rina Forbes says music is her passion. The young Rina joined church choirs and studied a lot of lyric sheets to train her voice. Some people started recognizing her talent and she had singing opportunities outside the country. She dedicates all her performances to God and thanked him for all the blessings.

Acrobatics and contortionism is a serious discipline for the group Larvae, but what challenged them are the bullying and mockery. The members are staying strong and optimistic while holding the college scholarship given to them by the show because of their skills.

Marco was born and raised in New York, USA but he never forgot that he has a Filipino heart. He has a talent of playing tricks with the Chinese yo-yo when he discovered it during a trip in Disneyworld. Even though he was bullied during the competition and lost his confidence, he continues to teach himself several yoyo-tricks. When he retuned to his homeland, his grandmother witnessed his talent and then he was encouraged to join Talentadong Pinoy.

Determination and discipline brought the hip-hop dance group, Nocturnal , to stand out in Talentadong Pinoy because of their dances mixed with traditional Filipino choreography. The group continues with their dance practices  to get ready for the finals.

Singer Haina Udin believes that winning the title will give her a bigger career. Udin was the first winner of Talentadong Pinoy Middle East. She also joined and won the World Championships of Performing Arts in California last year.

The Talentadong Pinoy Worldwide Grand Finals will happen on August 18, 2013 at Cuneta Astrodome in Pasay City
