Cheil Worldwide to train young talents through Spikes Asia Creative Academy

SEOUL – For the sixth consecutive year, Cheil Worldwide is teaming up with Spikes Asia to run the Spikes Asia Creative Academy, an intensive three-day session designed to provide a unique learning opportunity for 15 students from across Asia Pacific. Selected young talents are gathering in Singapore to partake in an exclusive course designed to further improve their capabilities.

The Academy’s program aims to expand the students’ knowledge for when they start a career in the industry. They will enjoy the unique learning opportunity by listening to and speaking with industry leaders; fine-tuning their creative skills; and networking with their future colleagues and competitors. Last year, for example, Keith Reinhard the advertising legend joined the Academy to share his experience and knowledge with the students.

Commenting on the Spikes Academy sponsorship, Daiki Lim, President and CEO of Cheil Worldwide, said, “Our industry is all about talents. As a market leader, we feel it is our obligation to support and grow young talents. Having sponsored the Creative Academy every year since its inception in 2009, it is our great pleasure to see some previous Academy participants now working as mature professionals in the region. We are confident that this year’s rich program will also be a stepping stone for the 15 students from the region.”
