DDB Group Singapore receives second consecutive Agency of the Year Award

ASIA-PACIFIC, SINGAPORE, NOVEMBER 2010 – DDB Group Singapore was named Advertising Agency of the Year at the Singapore Advertising Hall of Fame Awards 2010. It is the agency’s second consecutive AOY. 
 
DDB’s win over Ogilvy and Y&R was doubly sweeter because of the homegrown leadership behind it. Singaporeans David Tang and Neil Johnson showed that an international agency can grow with local talent and remain both creative and effective, as evidenced by the agency’s showing in the the Singapore Effies and the local creative award shows. 
 
The award show, hosted by the Institute of Advertising Singapore (IAS), also saw DDB triumph in other categories. Its client, the Singapore Health Promotion Board was named Advertiser of the Year, while DDB and RAPP Executive Creative Director Joji Jacob, took home the Creative Director of the Year award.
