Radio Republic brings OPM festival to Dumaguete City

MANILA, OCTOBER 29, 2012 – The Philippines own version of the Woodstock Festival will invade university town Dumaguete City. Dagsa, a two-day musical celebration featuring local artists, will add extra spice to the city’s annual Sandurot Festival which runs on November 9-15.
 
The two-day musical celebration kicks off on November 9 at the Father Louis Chauvet Hall, St. Paul’s University with “Muchikahan”. Hosts Ryan Cayabyab and Jay Durias will be headline the live music show which airs on Radio Republic every other Tuesday at 8pm. 
 
On day 2, the Rizal Boulevard will come alive with an all-night street party featuring the finest in OPM today. Live performances will be provided by DJs Red-I and Soulflower, Tropical Depression, Gruppo Tribal, Artstrong, Quest, Pedicab, Sandwich and Rico Blanco.
 
Dagsa is organized by Radio Republic, an online media channel that provides users with a certified OPM experience 24 hours a day, seven days a week, anywhere in the world. The channel guarantees original shows and content that spans all kinds of genres. It is also a fully interactive show, giving listeners a voice and a community to call their own.
