Seventeen-year media industry veteran, Alec Pang recently signed up with 2/11 Promoworks Marketing, Inc. as director for business development and head of strategic planning. He was formerly director for strategic planning at OMD Philippines.
Pang started as a media assistant at the then Advertising and Marketing Associates Consolidated (AMACon). While at the AMA-DDB-OMD network, Pang had local and international exposure, handling accounts such as Budweiser, Manila Hotel, Compaq, Hershey’s, Pascual Laboratories/Pharex Corporation, Kawasaki, M-Lhuillier, AMSPEC (Mongol, Crayola), Reckitt Benckiser, Kopiko, McCormick and Gatsby.
His notable projects include the 2006 Brittany Crosswinds Bellyband, the first-ever pagebreaker that landed on the front pages of local broadsheets; and the 2008 Hershey’s No Hoax Email Campaign, which made use of the “Send this email to 10 of your friends and get a chance to win 1 of 10 exclusively designed Chocofones” email viral strategy. The campaign received a Finalist citation in the2008 Boomerang Digital Awards for Best in Integrated Boomerang category.
By his moving, Pang believes that he has found a new home in 2/11 Promoworks where he can exercise his creative and media talents for providing marketing solutions to small and medium businesses with modest budgets.
2/11 Promoworks specializes in events, promotions, activations, merchandising, creatives and creative media. Clients include Kraft Philippines, Ajinomoto, JS Unitrade (EQ Diapers), Century Pacific Group, Tubu Foods, Lafarge Semento.
