Competing teams were given $250 each to run an advertising campaign in a three week-duration for a business or non-profit organization through Google Adwords or Google+ pages.

The global winners will be treated to a tour of Google’s headquarters in Mountain View, California to meet the AdWords team, while the regional winners along with their mentor will get to see the Google offices in their respective areas.

“This is APAC’s first championship in the competition, and we are proud that teams from Philippine schools landed it for the region. The double victory is a great testament of the quality of instruction we have in our universities and also of the Filipinos’ online marketing talent,” commented Ryan Morales, head of marketing at Google Philippines.
