Smiggle launches ‘Colour Crews Master Key’ for tweens

ASIA-PACIFIC – AUSTRALIA, SEPTEMBER 19, 2012 – Australian stationery retail store Smiggle has launched ‘Colour Crews Master Key’, an enhancement to the Colour Crews campaign launched in 2010 – this time moving the action exclusively to Smiggle’s growing Facebook fanbase. 
 
The new campaign engages 8-14 year olds through a Facebook app featuring a series of challenges and riddles set in six mythical lands, with a goal to find the Master Key. The game encourages social conversation between fans through Smiggle’s Facebook feed and at some points drives them to the Smiggle website or into one of Smiggle’s stores.
 
Since it went live on August 10, the Master Key app has added close to 15,000 fans for Smiggle’s Facebook page and has encouraged high level of interaction. 
 
The White Agency in Melbourne is behind the ‘Colour Crews’ campaign for Smiggle.
