MBCS, GWM Malaysia prove the Haval H6 HEV’s remarkable endurance in real time in latest campaign

KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA — MBCS, the creative content practice under IPG Mediabrands, joined forces with GWM Malaysia to showcase the extraordinary endurance of the Haval H6 HEV in a campaign that redefined automotive advertising.

The Haval H6 HEV Fuel Endurance Ultimate Challenge transformed a routine car commercial into a high-stakes, real-time endurance stunt. The SUV successfully covered 1,013KM on a single 61-litre tank of fuel, positioning it as the longest-running HEV in its class. Conducted along the Temiang–Pantai Highway in Negeri Sembilan, the test saw the Haval H6 running non-stop for more than 24 hours, with every moment captured, edited, and uploaded in real time.

Mun Tuck Wai, Executive Creative Director of MBCS, said, “We wanted to prove a product truth in the most direct way possible. Fuel efficiency figures can feel like esoteric specs on a page, so instead of saying it, we showed it. This campaign is proof that the H6 outlasts even its own advertising. The team was excited to be able to demonstrate this perfect blend of creativity and reality in real-time.”
