The organizers of the Cannes Lions have announced 5 new Jury heads, and opened all 11 categories for entry.
Announced last week were the heads of Direct, Promo, Design, Cyber and Titanuim/Integrated Lions. The latter jury will be headed by David Droga, multi-awarded Creative Chairman of Droga5 and soon to be a Boracay visitor, care of the Creative Guild’s Kidlat Awards. The man behind the celebrated Tap Project and the multi-awarded Air Force One spoof is the single most-awarded creative at Cannes. Launched in 2003 and evolved over the years to reflect the changes of the industry, the Titanium and Integrated Lions have become the most challenging category most sought after of all the awards.
Other Jury heads named are Sylvia Vitale Rotta, CEO and co-founder of Team Créatif, for Design; three-time Cannes Cyber Lions Grand Prix winner Lars Bastholm (of AKQA) for Cyber; Wunderman COO David Sable, Direct; and William Rosen, CCO-North America of Arc Worldwide, Promo Lions.
