Randy Aquino now Ogilvy & Mather Philippines group vice-chairman

THE PHILIPPINES, FEBRUARY 17, 2012: Ogilvy & Mather Philippines pushed its head of country/chief executive officer Randy Aquino to Philippines group vice-chairman today.
 
David Mayo, president of Ogilvy & Mather ASEAN will assume the position of interim CEO and while the company searches for a replacement. Aquino will continue his management studies in the U.S at the end of April, after which he will return to Manila to assume his new role.
 
“Randy has done an outstanding job delivering our Five Year Plan together with our management board of Leticia Matias, Peachy Pacquing, Melissa Crucillo, Leah Huang, Jeremy Sy, Arvin Sanchez and Eric Yeo. The agency is in great shape and Randy will continue to play a role, starting with helping me to establish a successor," says Mayo.
 
“It’s an exciting time for the industry and for Ogilvy,” says Aquino. “It is also an exciting time for me personally. At the board level, I look forward to working closely with the new management team and helping them set the next Five Year Plan for Ogilvy in The Philippines.”
