Penny Chow and Jay Lee take the lead at IPG Mediabrands Greater China

SINGAPORE – IPG Mediabrands has announced two high impact promotions designed to deepen collaboration and creative cohesion across the region.

Penny Chow, the force behind MBCS Hong Kong and the transformation of IPG Mediabrands Taiwan, steps into the role of Chief Operating Officer, IPG Mediabrands Greater China. Alongside her, award winning creative heavyweight Jay Lee takes the reins as Executive Creative Director, MBCS Greater China, overseeing creative across Mainland China, Hong Kong SAR, and Taiwan.

Penny Chow is a distinguished advertising professional with more than two decades of experience. Since joining IPG Mediabrands Hong Kong in 2017 to launch MBCS, she has driven the team to partner with iconic brands such as Nike, Coca-Cola, and Disney, earning numerous industry accolades. MBCS quickly rose from “The Best Newcomer” to “Integrated Agency of the Year”, and Penny was recognized as the Business Leader and Game Changer of the Year at the Women Leading Change APAC Awards. In 2022, Penny took the helm of IPG Mediabrands Taiwan, transforming it into a dynamic and innovative marketing partner. Her client-centric approach has attracted prestigious clients like Dyson and American Express.

Jay Lee’s career, spanning over two decades, has seen him work on high-profile accounts including Samsung, 3 Telecom, Hong Kong Airlines, McDonald’s, Wrigley, and Volkswagen. His extensive creative experience in above-the-line, digital, and social media has earned him numerous international awards, including The One Show, Adfest and Cannes Lions. Since joining IPG Mediabrands in 2017, Jay has embraced a data-driven creative approach. His ability to blend precise targeting with creative excellence has established him as a significant creative leader in the industry.
