TBWA relocates Choe to Singapore

SINGAPORE, AUGUST 16, 2013- TBWA has assigned Edmund Choe to lead in Singapore and South East Asia as chief creative officer. 

 
TBWA Worldwide President Keith Smith announced today that Choe, currently the co-president and head of creative for TBWA Greater China will move to the Lion City by the end of the year. “TBWA\Singapore is a pivotal agency in the region and as chief creative officer, Ed will continue to contribute to our growth and success,” added Smith.
 
The 28-year industry veteran joined the TBWA network in 2011, first in Shanghai. During his tenure, the agency grew over 200% and ranked third at Campaign Asia-Pacific’s ‘Creative Agency of the Year’ Awards in both China and Hong Kong. Choe is one of the most respected and most awarded creative directors in Asia. He has done jury duty for some of the world’s most prestigious award shows, including judging for Titanium and Integrated at Cannes Lions in 2009. Choe began his career at Batey Ads in Singapore, followed by Ogilvy & Mather, before moving to Saatchi & Saatchi, in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and China.
