DDB Group Philippines restructures management

THE PHILIPPINES, MAY 30, 2012: DDB Group Philippines recently executed a new management set up aimed to facilitate integration and efficiency in the organization. The new set up ensures collaboration among the different disciplines within the DDB Group and is envisioned to help strengthen capacity to innovate client brands.
 
Timmy Jayme is appointed chief operations officer for DDB Group Philippines. He relinquishes his role as managing director for DDB Philippines to expand his functions as Group COO. He will be heading the group’s agency operations in terms of business strategy development; process improvement; operational excellence; and people development. Concurrent to his role as COO, Jayme will continue to head the DDB PR and DDB Health businesses.

Former Tribal DDB managing director John Lucas has been appointed managing director for DDB Philippines and chief marketing officer for DDB Group. He will lead the team in handling the ad agency’s creative, strategic planning and account management services.  As the group’s marketing communication offerings continue to grow, Lucas will also help ensure end-to-end integration from advertising to digital to PR. The role he left at Tribal DDB will be taken up by Aileen Dalisay.

After a few months of retirement and a stint as marketing consultant of Philippine Airlines, Roy Santiago reunites with DDB Group, his “home” of 14 years as the new managing director of Touch DDB Philippines.

He will be is tasked to step up the agency’s channels planning and media management to the next level including repositioning and reorganizing the agency towards media neutrality; development of content-driven programs to engage the dynamic consumer; and establishing strategic tools and processes that will disentangle the agency’s servicing from traditional media. In executing these directives, Santiago will harness the strength of the DDB Group, collaborating with DDB Philippines/DM9-JaymeSyfu, Tribal DDB Philippines, the PR Group, and RAPP-Field Outsource Asia.
