RAPP Asia relocates to Shanghai from Singapore

ASIA-PACIFIC – FEBRUARY 25, 2011 – DDB Group Asia Pacific has announced RAPP Asia, currently located in Singapore, will be moving to Shanghai effective March 1. The move reflects the growing demands of data driven marketing and consumer analytics in Greater China. It also demonstrates RAPP’s aggressive growth strategy for the region.

John Zeigler, Chairman and CEO of DDB Group Asia Pacific said, "Moving our entire regional RAPP HQ to Shanghai is a massive investment but one I am confident will pay off immediately. Data driven marketing is a growing discipline anywhere in the world, to have our HQ based in China puts us in good stead to tackle this huge market.”

“RAPP has a strong presence in Singapore and the South East region, evidenced by our recent Agency of the Year win. Our focus now needs to be on bedding down business and growing our footprint in markets that are screaming out for RAPP’s specialist services. Additionally, I anticipate China will become the base to grow other opportunities in North Asian markets like Korea and Japan,” Zeigler added.
