The Cannes Lions 2014 International Festival of Creativity has announced the winners in the Film Craft Category, with no Grand Priz being awarded this year. The USA led with six Gold Lions and one Gold Lion Campaign.
Walter Pictures New York/Pulse Films London got two Gold Lions for ‘Bob Dylan Like a Rolling Stone’ for Sony Music.
Park Pictures New York / Wieden+Kennedy Portland’s ‘Pick Them Back Up’ for Procter & Gamble also got a Gold Lion.
BBDO New York’s ‘Ian Up for Whatever Film’ for Anheuser-Busch’ got a Gold Lion.
Anomaly New York’s ‘Focus and Explode’ for Dick’s Sporting Goods
Creative Artists Agency Los Angeles’ ‘The Scarecrow’ for Chipotle Mexican Grill also got a Gold Lion.
O Positive Films New York / SS+K New York’s HBO Go spots ‘Unconditional Love – Girls’, ‘What’s He In – Game of Thrones’, ‘Your Choice – Girls’ and ‘Happily Married – Curb Your Enthusiasm’ got a Gold Lion Campaign.
The USA also got eight Silver Lions, two Silver Lion Campaigns, 12 Bronze Lions, and two Bronze Lion Campaigns.
From the UK, mcgarrybowen London’s ‘Honda Illusions’ for Honda got a Gold Lion.
Blink Productions London / Wieden+Kennedy London’s ‘Cook’s Range’ for Lurpak grabbed two Gold Lions.
Wave Studios London / Wieden+Kennedy London’s ‘Adventure Awaits’ for Arla Foods got a Gold Lion.
MPC London / Sid Lee Paris’ ‘Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag, Defy’ for Ubisoft also got a Gold Lion.
New Zealand’s Clemenger BBDO Wellington got two Gold Lions for ‘Blazed’ for New Zealand Transport Agency.
Sweden’s Forsman & Bodenfors Gothenburg also got a Gold Lion for ‘The Epic Split’ for Volvo Trucks.
Spain’s Dimenson San Sebastian also got a Gold Lion campaign for ‘EITB-Better With Music’ for EITB.
There were three Asia winners in the category, two from Australia and one from India.
Australia’s Finch Sydney/Clemenger BBDO Wellington’s ‘Mistakes’ for the New Zealand Traffic Authority got a Silver Lion, while Exit Films Melbourne/Leo Burnett Sydnet’s ‘Comets’ for Diageo Australia got a Bronze Lion.
JWT India got a Silver Lion for ‘Make Every Yard Count’ for Nike.
