Samsung launches the self-service Samsung Kiosk to empower businesses in the Philippines

MANILA, PHILIPPINES — In its bid to help all kinds of businesses meet the demands and changing needs of their customers, Samsung Electronics Philippines (SEPCO) introduced the Samsung Kiosk to key enterprises and businesses in an event partnership with CTC Solutions Technology, Inc. (CSCSTI) in Hive Hotel, Quezon City.

CTCSTI is a solutions-first company with nearly 28 years of experience in catering to retail stores and quick-service restaurants in the Philippines. CTCSTI has also been a premium partner of SEPCO since 2018, carrying the global brand’s Display technology to the retail and QSR markets.

In attendance were SEPCO President Min Su Chu, CTCSTI President Jayson Dy, CTCSTI General Manager Ina Estrolavio, Epson Philippines President and Director Kusama Masako with Senior Manager for Vertical Printers Noelle Gonzales, and Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions Country Sales Manager for the Philippines Jayvee Chua.

In his remarks, SEPCO President and Managing Director Min Su Chu highlighted the world-class Kiosk technology Samsung offers: “This year, Samsung is celebrating our 25th year in the Philippines. During the live demo of the event, guests were able to experience why Samsung Kiosk is the new standard for self-service. It is ready out-of-the-box and simple to install, operate, and maintain – helping businesses provide modern and secure customer service. The convenience of contactless technology has become critical for businesses to meet consumer demand across various industries and applications, including bill payments, drive-thru, self-ordering, smart cafés, and many more.

Among the products and devices that guests were introduced to include the Digital Menu Board and Signage, the Flip Pro Interactive Whiteboard, Small Touch Displays, Ruggedized Phones, and Tablet for mobile ordering.

Samsung Kiosk is part of Samsung’s push to allow businesses and retailers around the world to optimize their customers’ journeys. Here in the Philippines, the fast food chain KFC currently uses Samsung Kiosk on Windows OS at 63 locations. The Samsung Kiosk creates an in-store digital experience for KFC customers, enabling them to self-serve and enjoy a more personalized and convenient visit. To continue enhancing its customer experience, the company will install Samsung Kiosks at more than 100 additional stores by the end of the year.
