JWT launches digital talk show series at CES

GLOBAL – NEW YORK, NEW YORK, JANUARY 16, 2011: With a goal to “impart insights and ideas from global brand leaders," JWT debuted “Worldmakers”, a web-based talk show series, during the 45th annual International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, Nevada.
“Worldmakers is about having candid conversations with the influencers who shape our culture, and sharing those insights with our clients, and audiences around the world,” said Bob Jeffrey, CEO and chairman of JWT Worldwide, who is also the host of Worldmakers. The show also aims to explore the convergence of advertising, technology, and entertainment.
“Our business grants us the privilege of coming into contact with fascinating and inspiring people across all industries, geographies and walks of life,” said Jeffrey.
The first Worldmakers episode featured Carolyn Everson, Facebook’s vice president for global marketing. Also interviewed during the CES were Keith Weed (Unilever), Brad Harrison (Schick), Jason Oxman (VP at Consumer Electronics Association), Sam Chang (LG Electronics), Janet Scardino (Function(x) Inc), Joe Clayton (Dish Network), Anne Schelle (Open Mobile Video Coalition), Lisa Hsia (Bravo), Rob Barnett (My Damn Channel), Dave Madden (Electronic Arts), and Michelle Moody (Ford).
Developed, produced and made by JWT, all Worldmakers episodes will be aired on JWT’s YouTube channel and syndicated across relevant earned media channels and trade/advertising outlets.   Subscribers may also be updated real time through JWT Worldwide’s Twitter account, with the hash tag #Worldmakers.
