“In this complex ecosystem, paid, owned and earned media are converging. Social has gone beyond a service to a product and it is important for us to offer this to clients as we start to see the co-relation among paid, owned and earned media and how it relates to digital solutions for clients’ digital objectives. SMG Social adds depth and completes our service offering as an agency. This then paves the way to talent development as digital media practitioners, adding diversity to the people we hire,” said Lee Yew Leong, Executive Director for Digital at Starcom MediaVest Group.

Both Tan and Chuah will report to Ian Loon, Social & Content Services Lead, who is also Regional Director for Samsung Southeast Asia, Australia, New Zealand and Taiwan.
