MANILA, PHILIPPINES — AirAsia Philippines is driving the surge in domestic tourism this January as the country celebrates its most colorful festivals in Cebu, Iloilo, and Kalibo.
With Sinulog, Dinagyang, and Ati-atihan celebrations in full swing, travelers now have more reasons to fly.

The World’s Best Low-Cost Airline is launching the AirAsia Fiesta Sale, offering one-way base fares from just ₱115 to select domestic destinations until January 25, 2026, with travel period from January 12 to November 30, 2026, making it easier than ever for Filipinos to join the country’s most anticipated cultural celebrations or plan their future travels.
AirAsia Philippines President and CEO Capt. Suresh Bangah said, “AirAsia Philippines is proud to support the growth of domestic tourism, especially during the country’s iconic fiestas. These events not only showcase our rich culture but also stimulate local economies and create unforgettable experiences for our guests and we are glad to be part of making those moments truly memorable.”

In Cebu, AirAsia is further strengthening connectivity with the launch of two new international routes and three additional domestic routes.
With this expansion, AirAsia Philippines hopes to support the Cebu provincial government’s Balik Cebu Program, which aims to boost visitor arrivals. According to DOT Region 7, tourist arrivals are projected to reach 400,000 this January.
