Less than two months after joining Y&R as executive creative director, Badong Abesamis is named Chief Creative Officer.
In the last quarter of 2009, Y&R Asia made a number of new creative appointments, including Abesamis’ promotion.
“These people are talented creatives who have chosen a network they believe in,” said Marcus Rebeschini, Y&R Regional Creative Director for Asia. “We welcome them to the family.”

Abesamis joined Y&R on December 7, 2009. His selection was a collaborative effort between Chiqui Lara, Y&R Philippines president and CEO, and Rebeschini, and approved by Global Creative Head, Tony Granger.
Prior to Y&R, Abesamis was with McCann, Leo Burnett and TBWA/Santiago Mangada Puno.
